Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka is a Belarussian born in Minsk. Sergey Sabalenka (d. 2019) is her hockey-playing father. Aryna Sabalenka was birthed in Minsk 5 May 1998. She holds 12 WTA titles to her name in her career. This includes that of the Grand Slam of 2023 Australian Open. Doubles is her forte She has won majors at her first major tournaments, the US Open (2019) and Australian Open (2021), both of which were together with Elise Mertens. The Sunshine Double was achieved by Elise Mertens and her in 2019. Together, they took home the WTA 1000s in Indian Wells & Miami. Only four teams in women's Doubles were able to pull off. In January 2023, she surpassed her top ranking in singles. The 23rd day of August 2021, she climbed to number two in the world rankings. Following her victory at the Melbourne doubles competition in February of 2021 and gaining the doubles title, she managed to move up the rankings and take over the top spot in that specialty. Her coach was an ex- Russian tennis champion Dmitry Tursunov from 2018 until the end of the 2019 season, and partly at the beginning of 2020. Dieter Kindlmann was her short-term coach during the months of August through September 2020. Antonio Dubrov has been her coach since the year 2020. Serena Williams, and Maria Sharapova are among her greatest idols.
